Hello there,

Is there a possible Linux release for the enhanced Blood?

Regards
Ditto, Linux please.
No linux version at the moment we speak but maybe later. Games like Turok or Forsaken recieved Mac and Linux versions so chances are at hand.
So I'm not 100% clear on what this release is. Like I get it's probably wrought from the game's source code, finally pulled from someone's vault now that Nightdive owns the license, but is it a proper "source port" along the lines of Doom and Duke3D that people will be able to port to Linux and Raspberry Pi and Apple Watch and fridges, or is it still a proprietary, closed-engine port that's just been brought up to parity with modern systems?
Linux version would be awesome.
I'll buy it immediately after linux release :)
(Mac and Linux soon)

Grabbed from their Discord server (not by me).

Even if it's soon, it is still Nightdive soon. Turok 2's Linux version is still only on Steam and System Shock EE's Linux version has not appeared at all (unless something has changed since the last time I looked).

The latter I'm afraid. A closed source remake/remastering of the game on the KEX Engine.
Blood experts will know every last detail of what's different.

BloodGDX is still your best shot for running on all kinds of (fringe) systems and the source is available now too!:

As mentioned the Linux/OSX release of System Shock EE never happened but an open source project is being worked on - Shockolate:

I doubt the Blood code will ever get released but maybe someday... :'(

I cannot recommend nBlood enough. It runs very well on Linux, only the GUI selection of the expansion does not work on Linux, but it can be run via command line arguments (-ini CRYPTIC.INI).

Yes I've seen that mentioned - I'll have to give that one a go!:

Just compiled NBlood under Debian Testing and briefly played it.
It looks excellent so far:

Helloooo, still waiting for native Linux version of this game.

Unfortunately Atari decided B:FS is "done" and pulled all additional funding. The best your going to be able to do on Linux for B:FS is fire up Wine or Proton. But that's really only if you want to play Victorious_Games, excellent Blood Extra Crispy mod. For everything else, there is NBlood.

Typical Atari. I guess I'll check out NBlood. Mainly interested in playing the Death Wish mod.

It really is a great add-on.
