Did anyone else notice in the screenshots GOG has for Blood 2, one of them prominently features a big sign that says 'Steam may cause injury or death'?

Verily. But this is not what your'e thinking of. Blood 2 was released 1998 while Valve's Steam system was first published in 2003.

Yeah, but do you think that screenshot was taken when the game first came out? Doesn't GOG usually have someone take the screenshots, just like how they make their own trailers for the games?
So while, yes, the game is older than Steam, the screenshot probably isn't. I think it may have been a lighthearted joke.
