My gaming PC went kaput so I'm having to use an old laptop. I installed Blood 2 and I an error message when I try to start it up, screenshot is attached. I've tried redownloading and reinstalling.
The laptop is an HP Pavilion dv6000.

What screen resolution are you using for the game? Try a low one like 800X600.
Already thought maybe it was the res crash, because I had that problem on another computer when I tried to run my native res initially. Even at low resolutions it won't even boot into the game.
Your native res? Your not using the retail nightmare levels rez?

Pardon? My native resolution is 1680x1050, that's what I was talking about. I have tried booting the game in 640x480 and a bunch of resolutions in between but it never boots. It just either gives me the error message or just stays at the small black box.

Lol, my bad. If your compatibility settings are all set for 98 then I'm clueless. *shrugs*
