I'm having some flickering when playing Blood. It's not much and not always, but of course it bothers me some.
It happens mostly on the start-up and when using the automap.

The DOSBox settings haven't been touched at all. The only settings I've set is for Blood itself, by using the setup.exe as always.

It should be noted that this happens when playing Duke Nukem 3D as well. I reckon there's issues with DOSBox and Build then.

Anyway, can it be fixed?

Generally changing the the "output" setting to "surface" tends to help.
You can find that is your dosboxBlood.conf file.
output=surface

It's in the [sdl] section near the top of the file (mine is on line19) If yours is already set as surface, you could try some of the other options: overlay,opengl,openglnb,ddraw. Others have had more success with ddraw.

You might also change the "machine" setting.
machine=vesa_nolfb

I think it's the S3 by default.

That did the trick. Also, while browsing the forums I found out that 640x480 is the best way to play this.
