Today, on launching the game (Fresh Supply v1.9.6) it first started up my GOG Galaxy before starting the game. Now this is unwanted behaviour for me. If I had wanted it to use GOG Galaxy then I would have installed it via GOG Galaxy. I only have the client installed for use as a download manager for Offline Backup Installer files when I need to carry out a large download.

Other GOG games I've tried do not start the GOG Galaxy client, and I think Blood has only started doing so since I accidentally updated the GOG Galaxy client yesterday evening.

Checking the Start Menu, the Blood shortcut was indeed pointing to the GOG Galaxy client with a command line parameter to launch Blood. The shortcut within the Blood installation folder, however, just points to the anuket_x64.exe. As such, I've been able to restore the non-GOG Galaxy client behaviour by changing the shortcut.

Thought I'd post this here in case it helps anyone.

Can't confirm this. I installed the game with the latest offline installer and everything works fine without Galaxy starting before the game. The shortcut also directly points towards the games .exe file.

Do you have the GOG Galaxy client installed aswell, though? I noticed the behaviour start after I'd accidentally launched GOG Galaxy and it then updated itself as I hadn't used it in a while.

The offline installer version does still look for Galaxy, though. When you get to the main menu, pull down the console and take a look. There is some yellow text that mentions not being logged into Galaxy (when it runs without Galaxy being started, that is).

Yes I have Galaxy installed and updated to the current version.

I don't see any yellow text in the console at all in offline mode. Are you sure you have downloaded the correct offline installer for the current version v.1.9.6-1?

There is only one link in the offline backup installers and it gives you this file:
setup_blood_fresh_supply_1.9.6-1_(64bit)_(30065).exe
I downloaded it via the website, not via Galaxy client, so it must be the offline backup installer that I have.

When I boot up Blood I get a yellow line in the console that says:
GOG Galaxy: Failed to authorize with Galaxy client: Galaxy Service is not signed in properly.

It takes a few seconds for that to appear, and it shows up right beneath that blood.ini line in your screenshot.

I suggest you uninstall the game, update Galaxy to the current version, then download the installer and install the game again. Also turn off automatic updates in Galaxy. If that doesn't fix this problem you should talk with the support team.
Just delete the desktop link and make a new one.
Often if you use the default shortcut to launch the game it wants open galaxy. If you use the executable directly it will just run the game. All your games will run with out Galaxy. As the poster above said.....you can make a new short cut directly from the exe and it will not launch Galaxy.
