I'm using an Xbone controller and the triggers aren't registering. Does anyone know what is the issue?

This is legacy old DX Dinput game. No full Xinput support.
Re-plug it (perfect if wiredly, not wiredless). Restart the game. Do not unplug it during game.

Make sure you go to settings and bind controls.
