Does anyone know if this game will work with an Xbox Series X Controller?
ive not had any luck with it so far

from what I can tell...it should by default be prepatched/compatible with xbox controllers

I loaded up the game with my wired Xbox Series controller.

Nothing on my controller is recognized, and if I hit esc to bring up the quit/continue menu I can't even click on any of the options even though I have a mouse cursor.

Is there something I need to do to enable the controller?

Has anyone tried with a PS4 controller?

My MS Xbox Controller Elite v.2 works, I have not installed anything but the GOG version I have just bought.

Yes, I'm currently using a PS4 controller and it works perfectly just straight out of the box. Normally with these kinds of games you need to run something like DS4Windows to trick the game into thinking it's an Xbox controller but there's absolutely no need to do that at all with Blood Omen, the PS4 controller just works.

HOWEVER, note that if you install Verok's patch, it seems to break this native PS4 controller support, so you WILL need to run something like DS4Windows if you want to use your PS4 controller.

No. I am playing with my PS4 controller after install Verok's patch and it's working perfectly. No issues so far.

My Xbox controller works right of the bat, but it's hard to keep track of which key is what.

I don't know if this helps, but I was having the same issue until I plugged my controller into my computer. It wouldn't show up when it was just over Bluetooth but it worked like a charm when it was plugged in

My xbox one wired controller works fine without any tweaking or changes, but I needed to quit the game and then restart it after my PC recognised and said controller was useable, then everything worked fine right after. The only issue I am having is that when I turn to wolf form I don't know how to jump, so its currently a bit wierd, everything works fine when playing in human form, but in wolf form I use the keyboard space bar to jump. Not sure how to remap jump on the controller, maybe I am just missing something obvious.

Plug controller before game is still default thing. Wrapper =/= native Xinput support (that always support un-\plug during game, Dinput - optionally).

Isnt it possible to reconfigure controls in Options menu? Action\use button or something like that should be jump in worl form.

Series X gamepad is working without any issues (wireless or wired) with Verok's patch.

I ran into a problem like this with an off-brand 360-type controller: If you run/have ever run vJoy, it can interfere with the game. Make sure you disable any virtual joystick devices in Device Manager if you have any.

I have Xbox One controller and it's work fine. Default key assigment is OK, but you may change the functions for any button.

xbox 360 controller works as well.
