So I read a lot about this. It seems the general notion that the "new" game installment is better than the first. But I also read that there a still quite some problems. I would like to know, is this game worth 18€ in the current state? I play a lot of M&B Warband and generally the setting of Caribbean interests me. Just would like to know whether you are still waiting for the fixing of gamebreaking bugs/mechanics of whether you would rate this generally a good game. Thanks!

Also curious to get some input from others that have played. I had been really excited for this game ever since its announcement in 2012 but heard a lot of negatives when it initially launched and wanted to wait to see if anything eventually changed. Is it still a bug ridden mess? Are there any differences between the GOG and Steam version (a review mentioned lack of multiplayer for the GOG version)?

I just bought it here on GOG. Multiplayer is there, whether it works I didn't test though. On the first glimpse singleplayer seemed without problems. Will maybe report when I looked at it more in-depth.
