On normal difficulty the AI is competent. They will use planes and artiellery sometimes to annoying effect and react quickly to your attacks.

This is of course on the normal difficulty. If you find you keep getting your ass handed to you I recommend dropping the difficulty to easy and enjoying the explosions while you gte used to the hotkeys and how the game plays.

Also make sure you source the ailogic.dll file from Stalingrad spin off game - this stops the AI shooting you thorugh objects.
