Anyone know where it is? Apparently the Steam version saves it in an ARCSYS folder in My Documents, but not so for the GOG release (and it's not in the program folder either). I wanna play and it doesn't detect my resolution automatically... resulting in nothing but a black screen >.<

If you do a search for the ini on your hard drive, does anything turn up? Maybe the game fails before even creating the ini. Could it be an issue about the game not having write permissions to the directory where it's trying to create the ini?

Downloading the game right now so it's going to take a while, but I'll check back once I'm done.

No it's definately down to the resolution, the vast majority of GOG games don't like 1366x768 for some reason. It's usually fixable if the game has an ini though.... and I did a file search, no dice.

Found it! It's not an INI, it's a CFG. Curiously it only showed up in Windows Explorer after I had found it using a third party search program. Either way, got it working after manually setting the res :)

I am having the same problem, I can't find the file required to adjust the settings. And everytime I try to run the game, a message saying the program stopped working shows up.

Its possible that the file hasn't been generated because the game hasn't been able to load yet.
