Does this game support controllers besides the XBox 360 controller? I've got a Saitek Rumble Force controller that I have had no issues with before and is recognized and supported in other games but will not work at all in BlazBlue. Is this typical or am I doing something wrong?

Edit: I was able to get the controller working with x360ce. I suppose the answer is yes, it only works with the 360 controller. If your controller doesn't work with BlazBlue, download x360ce and configure it. Once finished, drag the resulting files into the game's folder and it will work properly

While using a program to map the controller to emulate a 360 controller works, I went ahead and got a 360 controller anyway. Quite a few games use it anyway so I figured it was worth the price.

So, problem solved. Either use a 360 controller or get a program like x360ce to fool BlazBlue into thinking the controller is a 360 controller.

If you opt for x360ce, launch the program and let it create the config and dll. From there, select your controller from the list of presets, save, and exit. Copy the x360ce executable, config, and dll into C:\GOG Games\BlazBlue - Calamity Trigger or wherever you installed the game and it will launch normally.
