EDIT: while I'd still appreciate confirmation, i sort of found a solution for this game and other games. Figured I'd post it here for other people wondering if GOG games are updated to their Steam/other store counterparts. I went to Steamdb and Gogdb websites and found the Blasphemous 2 pages for each database. I compared their latest updates and if these websites are accurate, Blasphemous 2 is using the latest build/patch here on GOG. Hope this helps someone.

So Team 17 published Blasphemous 2 and unfortunately they have a poor track record on GOG for keeping games they published up to date (like Trepang2). I don't wanna buy an outdated version of this game on GOG if that's the case. But I still wanna play it, so if anyone could inform me whether or not the GOG version is fully patched, I'd really appreciate it.

I completely understand the frustration here. It's disappointing that Blasphemous 2 on GOG is still lagging behind while the Steam version has already received essential bug fixes. As GOG customers, we're left waiting for patches that address significant issues in the game. This shows a clear disregard for us as customers. We purchased this game in good faith, expecting equal support, yet we watch as other platforms are prioritized. This practice is simply disrespectful to paying customers.

I strongly urge Team 17 to finally deliver the overdue update on GOG—immediately!
