The Dual Neutron Disruptor (DND in the manual) consumes twice the ammunition to do half the damage of the Rapid Assault Weapon (RAW), and that's with the increased rate of fire. Am I not using it right? I only seem to be able to get more effectiveness out of it when using it at close range. And by 'close range' I mean point-blank.

the DND is blake stones version of the W3D chaingun it fires two shots each shot with rapid fire.. it's an room clearing gun. the raw is the Machine gun and fires on shot with rapid fire.

Is it tied to something funky like CPU timing? If it's firing twice as much ammo with each shot, why does it take longer to clear a room with it than with the RAW?
it actually works exactly like the wolf 3d chaingun it fires 2 shots per trigger pull. you just treat the gun exactly the same way. you just fire at one target and they go down quickly. the DND can actually down an star trooper without him sleeping. the manual does state that accurecy will go down with distance.
