What type/style of game is this? Is it simply a walking sim with a horror setting?

I have been interested but don't want to watch reviews in case of spoilers. I am hesitant though because the one Bloober game I played was Observer, which I did not enjoy. It had zero gameplay and was essentially a walking sim in a sci fi setting.
