I've played this game several times and this never happened to me before. It might be a bug regarding the "restored content" version, which is what I am playing now.

It's time to talk with Gordo about "JEWELRY" and "LUCY", but "LUCY" question never appears.

I already dispatched Lucy at Hysteria (allowing her to escape), so now I'm into Dektora and Gordo at Early Q (as Gordo is not at Taffy Lewis').

The thing is, that because I don't ask Gordo about Lucy, Dektora's show will never start, Hanoi will be always vigilant about the back stage, etc.

The reason why this happens, I think, is because I did not get photo disc at Runciter's (indeed, the game somehow skipped this option and Runciter is now closed!) Hence, I have no picture of Lucy that I can show (neither I showed to Zuben, of course). It seems that I am now in a cul de sac.

What is left, maybe, has to do with revisiting Taffy Lewis' until Gordo teleports there. Any other idea?

All best!

Hi there! Please share a save game that is relevant with this issue and I could have a look.

You can upload the save game on an cloud file service like Google Drive or Dropbox etc and share the link here.

Edit: Also let me know of any further feedback (suggestions, issues) you may have on the Restored Content mode in general.

What a fast answer! :D

Here you have the save game: drive google com/open?id=1bPwkUKXs3FI4IkwKIdk9Q8pOVF-bGYbq

Can you access it?

By the way, is there a way I can edit it as well? Just to play around.

There was a minor issue, concerning Spanish as default language. It simply did not run on RC mode, so I had to switch to English (and hence it downloaded the English block and ran). Another one has to do with closing the game on Windows 10; it seems that GOG's launcher doesn't fully get it and sometimes I have to kill its processes before restarting. But anyway, yours is an oustanding job!

A second encounter with Rachel really touched me. I get that ter was tech issues with a greater game on old computers; but for sure that speech should be there by default. It a small detail that makes the whole thing more connected with BR's movie and with PKD's view. (No spoilers!)

Hey, thanks for the kind words.

I should mention that the issue with the Spanish version was fixed a few weeks ago, and it is part of the daily ScummVM (2.2.0git) development builds. It will of course also be in the next release of ScummVM (which should be 2.2.0 but no timeframe for that as of yet).

I looked into your saved game and I think I know what the issue is.
It seems that this is not actually a bug.

So, I guess fair warning this might be a bit spoiler-ish to anyone reading:

- The person you have to find and talk to next (in this particular playthrough) is Dektora.
- You will need to pass by Hanoi and make it into the VIP lounge again. (I say again because by the dialogue I got from Early Q, you've already talked to him once).
- So, Hanoi can be tricked in the same way as the first time you tricked him in order to divert his attention away from McCoy. But you have to talk to him first (again) to get him first focused on McCoy and then... do the thing to divert him.
Then head to the rotating couch to get in the VIP lounge
- While in the VIP you can talk to Early Q again (he'll say that he's working and he's busy). But most importantly you need to wait for a bit (in the VIP) for him to leave. He'll walk to the left of the screen and present Dektora's (Hecuba's) act.
This should resolve your issue (I've re-tested it now). Let me know if you need more specifics or if this didn't work for you.

I wouldn't suggest editing the save game itself (albeit I used to do that years ago when I started researching about the game). The easiest way to play around these days would be through the ScummVM debugger feature, whereby you can issue various commands and see what happens!

Please note that due to some oversight from our part, the ScummVM release (2.1.0) that comes with the game in GOG has an issue with the debugger mode -- it tries to use the console window for it instead of an overlay popup window and this will cause the game to be as if frozen, because GOG hides the console window when launching the game from the shortcuts iirc. This issue has been fixed in release 2.1.1a and also developer builds won't have the issue. I always recommend using the latest developer build anyway, unless you experience performance issues (on hardware with really constraint resources a development (debug) build may be a bit slower).

The debugger is accessed with Ctrl+D in-game and the available commands for it are in our ScummVM wiki page:
https://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/Blade_Runner#Debugger_commands

Edit: About the Lucy photo. You can finish the game without ever getting the security footage from Runciter or finding Lucy in it. However, if you want to get the footage (from Runciter), then in Act 1 you have to click on the broken security camera in Runciter's shop, after you've talked to him at least once and of course only while he is still there.

It worked, thanks! I didn't wonder that it was about waiting... The "real time" thing, hehehe. Now I don't find Dektora at the dressing room, but I guess that's because I have to deal with Q first. I've heard that sometimes you have to visit the other bar several times until he appears. Let's see what happens!

Thank you very much for your help!

I'm eager to know bore about the enhanced edition (www engadget com/2020-03-12-blade-runner-enhanced-edition-announcement.html?guccounter=1). Are you into this as well? (off topic!)

You're very welcome.

For Dektora you do have to wait to finish her dancing act (until lights out) before she goes back stage. I didn't have a problem finding her backstage.

I am not involved in the Night Dive Studios project. There's been some communications from NDS with the ScummVM team in the previous years (and up until very recently) but those led to nowhere, so we'll have to wait and see what they will be doing. (Details about the communications between NDS and ScummVM will not be disclosed at this moment)

I hope everything goes good... Let's cross fingers.

Thank you very much again for your work and attention!
