I still have my old Blade Runner CDs from ages past, and using the freely available version of ScummVM I was able to install and launch it on my Windows 10 machine. Is there anything actually different about this version of the game, or would I just be paying to buy the same thing I already have?

The game is the same with what you already own.

The benefits of the GOG release (that I can think of):
- GOG offers a user friendly, easy way to install on modern systems (Windows, Linux, Mac OS)
- Digital download, no CD drive required.
- Sets up configuration and shortcuts for the vanilla and restored content versions (via ScummVM)
- All official localized versions of the game are included (English, French, Spanish, German, Italian).
- Extras stuff like the scanned manuals, making-of booklet etc

Bug fixes, optimizations, quality of life improvements, subtitles support, restored content mode, are enabled via ScummVM. So if you are already running your game with ScummVM you get those, so in-game content wise the experience will be the same.

If you are using the latest version or build of ScummVM, (with your owned CD version or the GOG version) you get the additional bug fixes, improvements and restored content mode (since that is still WIP).
Cool, thanks bro. That's what I needed to know.
