Hello, so they offered me a discount code on GOG for Blade Runner, and I think of getting this game and give it a go before the announced remake version comes out. I was wondering a couple of things prior to purchasing:

1. Installation on Win 10 64bit is a problem or not? Otherwise I have my old Win 7 64 bit PC available as well.

2. Does it run under Win 10 or 7 natively straight after download, or do I need to install something extra, like the DOSBox (which was needed for another GOG game I got) ?

3. The graphics is fixed set at 640x480, is that correct?

Thanks, much appreciate some short comments. Happy gaming!

1. The GOG installer for Blade Runner works fine on Windows 10 64bit. Tested on Home and Pro Windows editions, all updates installed.
2. The GOG installer will create shortcuts to run the game directly. However, "under the hood" the game runs via ScummVM -- you don't have to install ScummVM yourself, but you may want to in the future, since newer ScummVM versions include improvements on the game's engine.
3. Yes, the game's resolution is 640x480. Windowed and full screen modes are supported.

Note: The game comes with subtitles support, and you can find subtitles (English, French and Spanish as of yet) on the ScummVM site, games section)
Note 2: GOG creates a shortcut to run the original game, but it also creates another shortcut for the "Restored Content" mode in your Start Menu. Restored Content mode is still work in progress and will be getting updates with newer ScummVM versions, but any feedback on it from anyone who tries it out, is welcome.
Thank you Wolfie for the detailed reply.

I'm a bit reluctant given the res is as small/old as it is. Rest sounds all good, I have Win 10 64bit Home.

Do NOT be a fool in using a spyware OS like Windows 10!
