I wanted to try using the Blade of Light mod to play with updated graphics, which requires using the r3dfx voodoo option in setup. The problem is when I pick that option and choose "config," my launcher simply closes. There's no error message or anything, it just closes out and the next time I open it, it defaults back to rOpenGL.

I'm running on Windows 10 and have set Blade.exe to run in compatibility for Windows Vista (SP0), disabled fullscreen optimizations, and run as administrator.

I can't find anywhere else that anyone has had this issue or how to fix it.

EDIT: I found a fix, apparently, so I'll log it for posterity
I just went to the dgvoodoo download page and downloaded the latest version. I then copied the x86 versions of Glide.dll, Glide2x.dll, and Glide3x.dll from there to the folder Blade.exe is in, replacing the ones that come with the gog version.

I hope the files replacement worked for u, but keep in mind that u need not any compatibility change, as this can make things worse with this game, nor to disable optimizations and admin run. All u might need, is force the game to run on 1 core, but this usually is something that windows do just fine. Nglide versions make no difference in this game at least, i tested them long time ago, unless your mod requires a specific one.
