Warrior:

Press ESC after loading your game

Go to GAME and then ARENA

Choose Player Configuration

Enter name: IVALAOSTIA

Choose Warrior character and then save at bottom

Hit ESC to return to your loaded game

Hit F8 multiple times to max your level (19). You are now nearly invincible but still prone to poison.

This cheat also works to skip a level by hitting F9.

If you write GUYAGAO with the Barbarian you got this nice trick:

1-2: increase-decrease size of your weapon (so funny, makes the games much much easier, don't recomend it at first walktrough)
3-4: same with your shield

I'm interested in this game, but I'm not a "hardcore" gamer so I don't want to spend a bunch of time just hacking and failing, and having to repeat many times. I'd like something that provides a challenge, but doesn't make it as difficult as some people are suggesting it is.

Those file code edits do not work with this version of the game. The in-game cheats, as listed above, do work, though.

From Arena/Player config, choose Amazon, change name to Pamela Chu, save, return to game, and hit F10 to toggle invincibility.
