I want to play in 1400x1050 4:3 and every time i close and open the game it switches back to 1920x1080 widescreen... i also added the game to the radeon settings to preserve aspect ratio like in all old games and doesn't work

Open "Window.cfg" in the Config folder and set your resolution there. Then after that right click on this cfg file and make it read-only.
