Hello there, recently picked this up when I saw it and remembered it from years ago!

The main issue I have right now is that the game seems to run incredibly quickly, like 4x faster then it should be playing at, almost like the game is running based on the processor speed like really old games used to. This seems to be the only GOG game I've bought that has this problem.

Anybody know how to address this, so I can actually play it in a normal manner? I'm playing on a laptop with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M graphics card.

This was a problem with the non-GoG version too, and it made me quit the game. I will wait to see this fixed before considering buying the game.

Sometimes I fix the problem by setting the process (blade.exe) affinity to only 1 CPU (CPU 0) in the task manager...

Don't install it in %:\Program Files%\, if you have done so.

I didn't install it in Program Files, it has it's own location I put GOG games in.

However, Stooner's solution seems to have addressed it more consistently then any other solutions I've read online so far.

You just have to remember to set it to only use 1 CPU every time you load it up, which is somewhat inconvenient.
