So I had played the game for a while and decided to take a break, and when I came back to continue where I left off the game crashes while it's loading my save.

the loading bar fills all the way up, and it says 'Loading Entity' in the bottom left corner of the screen.

Is it all saves, or just one of them? I had a bad experience with the game corrupting one of my saves once. The only thing you can do then is go back to an earlier save, if you have one.

I had two saves that I alternated saving between, and neither work.

I started a new game just now and was able to save and load (including overwriting one of the new saves) multiple times without any problem.

Guess I'll just have to start over? :/

EDIT: Not sure if this is anything or not, but I noticed the two new saves I made are about 1 MB bigger than the problem saves from yesterday.

It seems odd that both saves would get corrupted... as I recall, mine was only an issue with one slot. Unfortunately I don't know if a fix is possible, I went back to an older save game in my case. If you do start over, I would recommend rotating through all the slots when you save.

The map I got a corrupted save on was Forge of Xshathra, BTW, just in case there's something up with the particular map.
Hey, I've been having the exact issue you've described in this thread, and I was hoping that maybe you've found a solution to this problem? I was rotating between two save slots too, and neither work.

I really don't want to start over again, or worse, start over again and have the same problem. :(
