Hi everyone!

I bought this game a year ago and I cannot make it to be playable. Not at least in a good way. rOpenGL option makes it to show just a black window, but there's sound when I choose options (but I cannot see them...). The other mainly recommended render option, r3Dfx Voodoo 1-2, makes it to show like the menu is frozen and with an awful black font that makes it unreadable.

I've looked for a mod or something that fixes this graphic issues, but I didn't find it. Is there anything like that?

Here is an unelegant and memory-based "solution", but I remember to have experienced the OpenGL no graphics but yes sound situation. My fix was alt-tab out of the game and then back in. It worked... xD.

Also, some info regarding your hardware/OS would be nice. I for example discovered that having K-Lite Codec Pack makes the game to crash, so you never know it!

I am glad I could help you :D Enjoy this underrated (and national!) masterpiece. I remember having the DVD which was bundled with Micromania or some magazine like that, and when I first heard the voice in the intro... awesome.
About the languages, it's because distributions rights are the shit. GOG can be allowed to sell only one language, for example Baldur's Gate. GOG managed to distribute that game on a lot of languages, but couldn't secure our beloved "A LOS OJOS BUBÚ!" D: I remember when I bought this here, it wasn't even on spanish! Such a shame this happens, but at least we got an official patch here.
With some luck, they will open a spanish subforum too and they will try harder to get more games on spanish (specially when it is its language, like here :P).

I have to add that, for some reason, now I can play perfectly with the official texts (found it in Clan Dlan, as usual). The graphic errors I complained about won't appear any more. Spanish texts fit surprisingly well this game :o
