I've looked at hint sites and walkthroughs and they all say the if Joey (and Rosa?) see the picture in the gym and Joey looks at the note in the Roof Ghost apartment, I should see more conversation options that will lead to Rosa being able to Oogle Tonya Corsey successfully.

The first time I went to George's apartment, I had Joey go onto the balcony and talk to the Roof Ghost. Joey and the Roof Ghost went into her apartment and I walked through all the conversations. Since I had not yet seen the photo in the gym, I didn't recognize her.

I did have Joey read the "I know about Heather" note at that meeting.

So later in the game, I got to the Gym and had both Rosa and Joey look at the photo of Tanya on the wall.

After using the token with Peter to get him the circle with Michael, I went back to George's apartment. I had Joey go the Roof Ghost;s apartment. I had Joey look at the note again. Then I had Joey start a conversation with the Ghost. Joey asked about the note. Her response was something like "I don't know about any note. Quit asking." The other conversation is to ask her name again. She says something like "No. I'm having too much fun". There are no other options for the conversation. (Options: Ask her name. Ask about the note. Leave her.)


So is this a bug or have I missed something? Maybe talking to the Roof Ghost the first time I was at George's apartment locks out the conversations I need with the Roof Ghost?

Do I have to go back to a saved game before Joey spoke to the Roof Ghost and start again? (Being careful not to speak to her until after Peter goes to Michael and the circle.)

Never mind - figured it out.

The order of doing tasks matters (as other discussions mention), but the solution was that Joey has to left-click on the Tanya photo in the gym AND has to say "Hey, that's the Roof Ghost." Then Rosa can Oogle the name successfully.
