Hi,
when I open the load game screen it locks up, the music still plays but the mouse cursor doesn't move and I can't even alt-tab out of the game or use the task manager to force-close it so I have to turn off the laptop manually everytime.

I'm using an old laptop with windows XP, 1,5 GB of RAM and an Intel Centrino 1.70 Ghz, i use directdraw as none of the blackwell games (including this one) seem to accept directx9 on my laptop, and I want to stress that the other Blackwell games never had any issues.

Also: the problem manifests itself every single time, no exception, I can start a new game without any problem (though the sound crack and pops in some areas, speech in particular) and save the game just fine.

I fiddled a bit with the settings and was able to make the game work, thought it still slowed down to a crawl everytime I tired to open the menus.
