I read in some reviews that the game had a lot of unskippable animations and a lot of walking.

That is exactly what I hate in many games. I'm there for the fun, not the slog. I'd rather have 2 hours of fun than 10 hours of slog.

Otherwise I really dig what I see with all the noirness and animorph characters and such.

Have these problems been patched out in the meantime?
