trying to start the tutorial, the rounds get automatic ended, no chance to do anything,
after a while, I am killed, quest not completed

I have the Special Edition, but it happened also with the latest Patch.

I have a HP Laptop with Win 8.1

Did not help.

If I press ESC, the main menu showes up, the game stops, I can then use the mouse
to choose a menu entry.

According to the german support their are two main reasons for mous-problems: Old graphic drivers and not met system requirements. So... graphic drivers up to date? Which graphic card is working in your laptop? Be aware that Mobile graphic chips have normally half to two third the performance of their desktop pendants

Hi,

I have a HP Pavillion, bought Dec. last year, NVIDIA GeForce GT 740N,
so I dont think hardware is the issue, driver may, but HP has no newer driver
hence this is also no likely.
The HP as a board graphic card, ... I have no idea, if the NVIDIA is used, but
it is the preffered card for 3D.
