Dear Blackguards players and prospects,

we're very proud that the long time of developing Blackguards has finally come to a conclusion. We are releasing Blackguards on GOG today at 5 p.m. CET, 8 a.m. PST!

At the same time as the GOG release we will also hold a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) with the development team in close co-op with GOG, in which you're also able to win one of 40.000 (fortythousand !! - it's not a mistake!) Steam keys for Chains of Satinav. We'll announce a link later today.

A small notice to our Russian community: The Russian language in the game is still being overhauled and the final version will be released on January, 24th via patch. Thanks for your patience!

Just wanted to let you guys from Daedalic know why I bought Blackguards, even though I won't find the time to play it soon ;) Maybe I'm part of a very small minority, but I really appreciate how you released Blackguards and just wanted to reward this.

Thanks a lot and keep up the good work (I love Das Schwarze Auge).

Another info for our Russian community:

We're very sorry, but the Russian language update has to be delayed until Monday, 27th of January. The coming patch will improve the game's Russian localization by a great deal.

Regarding translations the last part of the in-game rulebook is in german, in all languages

Very glad to see this here at GOG. I really like this game, but I don't think I would have committed to a purchase on Steam. I don't like using my Steam account unless there's no other option, and I was on the fence about this one.

I have to apologize once more, but the Russian translation will again take a bit longer. It should be coming this week via patch.

Awesome release! I've been loving the GOG version and how the achievements are integrated.

Will Blackguards have modules or add-ons released by you guys? It's the perfect setting/game engine.
