Saboera: I'm having the same issue, the patch straight up freezes and stop responding.
Please re-download the patch as we reworked the installer and it should be a much smoother experience :)

Hardly. I re-downloaded it again (just now), and it still apparently freezes up (cannot interact with the setup window in any way -- not even to move it -- and shows not responding), *but* I decided to just wait... and wait... and wait... eventually I noticed a slight progress. To cut a long story short, it took a full EIGHT minutes to patch an 81 MB setup. WTF! On an i7 3.30 Ghz 16 GB RAM 12 core machine that is just astounding. Nothing, not even huge patches from other games, has ever come anything close to that. Remember, the entire 4 GB game installer doesn't take that long.

Note to anybody having this issue: when you start the patch, just go and have a coffee or something. Bizarre.

It wouldn't be so bad if for the fact that there are a lot of files that have been changed between versions. As for the freezing up, I have no clue what causes that, sorry :(

JudasIscariot: The Mac version has not been updated. It has been delayed due to technical issues beyond our control and we are waiting for a newer version of Blackguards 1.4 on Mac. I also stated that the Mac version has been delayed in the OP :)
I there any update on the Mac patch? It's been almost a month since the PC version was updated. I'm trying to download the patch from Daedelic, it popped up an alert that took me to the page when I went to install the DLC. Going on 3 hours downloading so far, it claims another 2 hours remaining, but it's also said that for the last two hours.

Nothing new to report so far other than we ha experienced some technical issues with the patch and we are working on getting this resolved ASAP :)

OK, I'll hold off updating. I did try using the patch from Daedelic and it crashes the game completely, fails to launch. I tried installing just Blackguards, without the DLC, same result. Back to just the GOG installs, tossed the patch out. I wouldn't recommend anyone else go through the long download and break their game.

You can't blame GOG for the lack of a patch, that's on the dev for not providing a patch for Mac. I'm just happy we got a update this time. I actually took the time to download the previous Mac patch from Germany, over 4 hours to get it in western Canada, and it broke the game completely. Wouldn't launch after install.
