CMiq: Would be nice if we had the opportunity to get the standalone soundtrack here on GOG too, I'm really digging the bits and pieces I've heard of it in one of the previews I've watched earlier.
Swedrami: Not going to be available on GoG anytime soon for... reasons:
https://twitter.com/WarcaveGames/status/1375424954582372358 I'm starting to wonder if the other platform, despite some devs having not commented on or outright denied this to be the case in the past, actually DOES secure and hold the right to exclusively sell extras such as soundracks, artbooks and whatnot in cases such as Black Legend's.
Or Overload's (soundtrack still not sold on GoG after 5 years), Disco Elysium's (soundtrack still not sold on GoG after 1 and a half years) or the just recently released Stubbs Remaster (missing soundtrack + (f)artbook).
Majority of soundtracks aren't sold here. It's literally a full time job finding them and contacting the developers to ask why, and they never reply, or if they do they just act like you should buy it on steam or bandcamp. Gog obviously doesn't care, and when they do release the OST it's a stealth release a week or years later that no one notices. I've widdled my 300+ wishlist down to 30 based on this criteria.
The only soundtrack I've found on gog that you can buy without having the base game, is Evan's Remains. But, I'm assuming that's an oversight by gog, but they never replied to my ticket. The soundtrack also has a few corrupted/gliltched audio files, but there's no way of contacting the developer. It's also very low quality, as low as 80kbps, absolutely pathetic, and a shame because it's a very nice OST.
Either way, I see no good reason why a developer wouldn't sell their wares to us, other than they don't care about us. They are somehow oblivious that most of us want nothing to do with steam.
