So, it is now sold at a 75% discount, which is kinda nice, BUT then the 'normal' price is supposed to be a whopping $42.89 ?? For a 6 year old game, this looks rather inflated, even with the DLCs ?

Or is it really worth that much ? I DO notice the current high prices on amazon etc, but it still can be had as a DVD PC version for say $13 on some ebay shops, brand new that is...

I was expecting more like the other Bioshock 'normal' prices here on GOG (like the $15.96 for Bioshock 2).

Any thoughts ?
2K never updated the Steam version into a GOTY edition with all DLC, and only the base game ever received a permanent price drop, so what you're seeing is a $30 base, $20 season pass, and $5 weapon/gear pack. It's baffling, especially since for an additional $5 you could get the entire trilogy on PS4/One when it initially launched (and it's been marked down at retail a lot since; it's around $20 now).

I’ve just seen that the entire Bioshock collection pack (1, 2, and Infinite with all DLCs) went on sale on Steam for barely more than Bioshock Infinite alone at 75 % here. I don’t own any of the games, should I get them there ?

Another thing is that Bioshock Infinite on Steam has the Mac and Linux versions included, but not on GOG

In terms of content there is no difference between GOG and Steam, so if you feel like it, sure buy the game(s).
A negative aspect about the GOG version of Infinite I noticed: When using the in-game overlay the game gets very stuttery all of a sudden.
Additionally I got a very annoying audio glitch, but that can occur with both versions of the game.
$15 is a steal. It's a premium on GOG due to no bundle option, so if you don't mind buying from Steam you'll be saving a lot.

BS2 Classic has multiplayer on Steam and not on GOG, but otherwise all versions are the same.

I have to agree as a fan of bioshock & system shock and owner of them on steam for many years.

The simple truth is the sale price they have for bioshock infinite complete is the same as buying all the bioshock games & dlc on steam when that pack goes on sale with multiple authorized resellers.

Don't get me wrong I'm happy for more games to be on GOG but the pricing even at 80% off would be excessive.

If they actually want to benefit from putting this game on GOG, they need to reduce the base price by at least 25% and put it on sale for 80% off. They should also be looking at offering a very very deep discount for anyone who already has the other shock games on GOG.

I don't blame GOG for this, it is 2K which seem to thing game+GOG= Excess profits
i wouldn't even buy this 6 year old game for 55 euros with stolen funds lol
WTH GOG??? I thought I was the only one outraged at the BioShock prices.

SHOULD we start going to Steam? I've been defending you guys for years, but I've got no excuse in my book for price gouging this bad.
Wow what a POS shooter that Infinite was, you can shoot for 30 seconds then all your 3 weapons are empty and you have to fiddle with the environment for two minutes to recharge them. And when no enemies are on the screen it's a bad puppet show. And in the end the story is Ken likes young girls with corsets I guess.
Glad I only paid 5 bux for it.

The irony of somebody complaining about robbery, then talking about getting a pirated version is so ironic...
