I came across a track from the score to the game with the song "Will the Circle Be Unbroken." I remember the artwork in BS1 and/or BS2 with a very humanist approach to billboards, etc. Is the complete neutering of that song in keeping with that concept, or did the game fall prey to "PC" police? Frankly, if you take the religious context of the song out of it, the song makes very little sense.
