Hello is anyone getting these crashes when intense action is happening? For example, sometimes when I'm fighting vs some enemies the game just crashes. It does not happen all the time though. I can have a ramming splicer up in my face and the game runs well but when some hooks are thrown my way the game crashes.

servobeupstry: You should provide details of your OS/CPU/RAM/Motherboard/Graphics Card and if you're using GOG Galaxy or not. It seems crashing issues can be very hardware-specific.

Since it's action related it might be your sound driver messing you up when playing certain audio files. Things get complicated if you are playing a cassette then you get hit or hear an enemy talking and also you have an NPC audio triggered by a script all playing at the same time. Make sure the HDD where the game file are is fine and healthy. Hope you sorted this one out :)

I might be wrong, but original 2 had the exact same issue... (on Steam)

I've also noticed that Bioshock 2: Remastered freezes all the time. It seems to be especially bad in the Siren Alley level. I've tried editing the Bioshock2SP.ini file but it doesn't make any difference.

The non steam versions of the original Bioshock 2 had the same problem if using DX 10. It was not exclusive to the steam version.
