Just wondering if there's an error in the pricing for this one?

Seems to be marketing at a AAA price point, which is usually ~ USD 60 (touch more expensive over here with beach tax, usually ~ USD 62-63), but asking price is almost USD 78?

Thought it would be a collectors edition or something, but thats just the base game.

Sooo, pricing error?

I am from Austria, here the price for the game is 60€ thats pretty standard here for AAA games (standard editions), so at least here the pricing seems about right.

Maybe it varies from state to state? We get a small DLC and the OST. Tho those are technically "free". If its too expensive for you wait for a sale. Might come in the first 3 to 6 month and might be like with HZD, a 10% price drop.
Their FAQ states the price should be €/$ 59.99. I can see it is €59.99 here in Germany and that is the price I paid.

According to IGN the Atomic Edition would contain a lot of physical goodies and would be $399.99 and the Collector's Edition has a poster and a figurine and would be $119.99.

For the game itself there should not be a difference between digital and physical copies between editions.

If you see a price of $78 my guess is it is a mistake or regional differences. Sometimes games have different pricing depending on the region.

Games generally are cheaper in the US than in the EU anyway. We both pay the same numerical value for most games, but since $1 is 83 eurocents, our €59.99 is $73. And the US price $59.99 is only €49.25. €59.99 is 17% more expensive than $59.99.

Yeah i seen that price in the FAQ too yet im in Australia and the us to aud doesnt add up 60 usd comes to 78 aud even if i add 10% gst that comes to round 86 aud and GOG charged me 99 aud wonder whats up with that i might ask for a refund as the local gaming store has it for 79 aud unless im paying extra for the dlc in the pre order or they are converting the more expensive being euro to aud then it adds up maybe i answered my own question strange though as even before they had a australian dollar as an option it was always usd so i did the conversion before buying games

If your local store has it cheaper, write GOG supprt and ASK them if the pricing of 99AUD is indeed a mistake here. If they say its accurate you still can refund the game and get it in your local store :)
