Does anyone know if I can transfer my saves from the version of the game that's downloaded from the Twice Circled site directly?

I decided to support the company again by getting the game here on GOG as well, since it's currently on sale, but I don't want to risk corrupting my current progress somehow...

If it's possible to transfer the saves, does anyone know which folder I move them from and which I move them to?

In case anyone else had this question, the Dev stated the saves are in C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Big Pharma\Saves on Windows, but that there should be no need to back them up, just uninstall the original version then install the GOG one.
