BG&E is a game worth your attention.
If you want fun, LOTS OF variety in gameplay, a good story, a fair but not frustrating challenge, likable characters... BG&E has got them all.
At heart it's a 3D platformer yet you will have driving sequences, flying sequences, mini games, simple puzzles, races, rpg elements and some incentives to explore the environments more thoroughly.
Unlike most 3D platformers yo won't have a single instant of annoying camera or problem judging distances. In fact one thing you will find odd is that you don't have a jump button. You approach a ledge and the character just jumps over it!
You also have some instances when you collaborate with non playable characters. Guess what! They don't get in the way and you don't have to wait for them to catch up with you.
It is evident that BG&E has been engineered to challenge you without frustrating. If you die it's because you did something stupid or careless. You won't have instances where you die or get stuck, and curse whoever designed the level or the camera.
My only complaint with the game is that it feels short. Either because it is good or because it is really short - I don't know! You can always go through it a second time and explore some environments, or race you might have missed and spend more time on the mini games.
If you want a good game to play over a weekend and value variety then this is for you.
