Heya everyone, sorry to be a bother, but just bought this game and finally downloading it after like trying for a day... it won't launch.
When i try to launch the game or the setting I get the message
"EAX not properly installed.Please install Creative EAX"
can anyone help please?

So you have the option to enable or disable it in the application settings priogram?
Assuming you have a creative soundcard, are there options in its control panel to disable EAX? Maybe its selected in the game but the soundcard app is denying it

No it says the same thing when i try to open the settings program too :(
and i don't even think my laptop has a sound card, im pretty sure it's just got on board motherboard sound... :(

I got the same issue, fixed it by replacing an eax.dll in my system32 folder.

I'm sorry it's in french but you can just download the file by clicking on the big blue box middle screen or you can google it, shouldn't be hard to find.

Ok now I figured out what to do.

Carali said to put it in System32 or whatever. I just dumped the file into my Beyond Good And Evil folder where the GOG games are installed and it worked immediately.

Sweetness. :D Still have weird graphical glitches though.
