I remember playing this game before at a friend's house and I remember a bug were the key would not drop from the ceiling after clearing out the room. Is this bug fix in the GOG version?

A little specificity would be nice. I can always bring up an old save and find out.

Are you talking about the room where you save Double H?
If so, google "BGAE Save Game Fix" (don't know this site's policy in regards to external links).
Don't have a clue if it works with the GOG version's saves, though
