Hello, I'm running BG&E on win7 64bit and I wanna backup my saves before a re-install.
I can't seem to find the .sav files, I tried looking in c:\users\username\appdata\
nothing
I also tried the gog dir. of BG&E but couldn't find any save files
where are those?

Hi,
The save games are in the game folder.
They are the slot0.sav, slot1.sav, etc.
Make sure you also backup the sally.idx file along with the.sav files

That's exactly the problem, I have no save files in the game dir
no slot0.sav no slot1.sav and not sally.idx
how can that be?

Did you check C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ the local then virtualstore subfolders?
