I had hoped maybe an update would resolve this but, nope. The game has literally never loaded for me. I can get into the initial menu but when I try to start a game it just spins and spins on the splash screen and nothing ever happens. I even tried letting it go overnight and it was still doing it the next morning.

Looks nice, but looks like I will have to ask for my money back and will be warning people to stay away .

Given that the few people posting here haven't also complained about this (including me - mine works fine), maybe it's something unique to your setup. I know you said you "hoped an updated would solve it", but did you actually remove it and then reinstall the new version?
