Between the stars is beautiful, difficult. Ever changing.

I for sure hope there's going to be updates/expansion packs coming for more nice things like planet visits.

I do want to point out that the camera control should be a full 360 degrees, Not being able to look behind me when I clearly have rotating turrets is very frustrating, especially considering shields are as well limited to 4 area's in stead of 6
Bottom, Top, Left, right, front and rear.

In stead we have Front, left right, back which makes rotating the hits on your shield a huge challenge.

I like the ingame mini games where you can roll the dice for a succes or lose.
As well as the random storylines when entering a target for a specific goal.

The ships are amazing, and my build is having a tough time running it smoothly on high / ultra

Win 10 Home edition
Intel I7-7700HQ @ 2.80 GHz. 8cpu`s 2.8
16GB ram
Geforce GTX 1060 with updated latest drivers.
SSD drives and a PCI SSD for games. (Ofc with plenty of read/write speed. I kind of forgot so I forgo the details)

Going to try different configurations

Pro Tip for everyone:
Unless you like motion blur, its extremely annoying in game so I suggest to turn in off for a smooth experience.

Fully agree. Especially regarding the camera control. There's another 360° mode when you press X - but that only moves the camera when you hit the edges and it doesn't allow you to view enemies below or above you. I wish we could just get a free sphere look from all sides by default - just don't limit it to ~90°ish in default camera mode.

My system is a bit weaker cpu-wise than yours. I only got an i7 3770 on Win7 - rest is the same - and the game runns butterly smooth.

I too disabled motion blur, because I just don't like it. It's not a graphical improvement and should only be used for negative status effects like drunkenness ;)
