I see where your coming from there, and I'm not one to turn to walk throughs every time I get stuck in a game. I spent a fair bit of time to trying solve things, and when eventually looked the puzzle up (when on the verge of giving up on it, and likely the game) I don't think I would have solved it myself. My brain just doesn't seem to think in the correct way for these adventure games sometimes! Perhaps playing a few more will help that.

Anyway, like you I was really getting into it, and would rather see the whole game, than not play it at all, even if that means a little cheating :)
