I'd been meaning to try this game for ages. I remember seeing the shiny box in the shop when i was young.
And the title is cool.
After all this time I found it a little disappointing. I haven't played any adventure games for a long time (since Fate of Atlantis) so I can't really compare it to recent games in the genre, but it seems to suffer from all the usual problems with point&click adventure games. That said, the puzzles aren't too illogical, there aren't TOO many pixel hunts, and some of the art is pretty nice. You do seem to HAVE to die several times to get the full story or some hints.
I really liked the use of your robot sidekick to solve puzzles, though it felt like it could have been used more. Some of the dialogue was funny.... but there was a strange disconnect between the serious sci-fi setting and story, and the comedy characters and writing. I guess thats the main problem i had with it. Also the usual P&C problem of being in a life and death chase, and having to walk around slowly trying to steal someone's sandwich....
