The game just dumps you right into the first screen. No intro at all, and I remember this game did have an intro sequence.

Was the intro purposely left out of GOG's version?

The intro works just fine for me, I'm sorry to say. I don't have any idea of how you would fix your problem, but I can confirm that the intro exists.

Try re-download the game and re-install it.

If this didn't work you can download a copy from the ScummVM downloads page (the game is a freeware) and run it with ScummVM, it will work just fine.
