Hey guys,
The iPhone version of BASS is coming out pretty soon (iBASS, as they call it). I'm currently Beta testing the game for Revolution and I have to say it transfers to the mobile device perfectly! The best thing about the port is the fact that pretty much everything except the controls is the same on the iPhone version, and also adding a brand new ending :D Also included is a hint system as well should you get stuck (I was a fan of the original PC version for years, but I remember getting stuck a lot!) Anyway not trying to advertise or spam, but I wonder if anyone here has an iPhone, and if you will play the iPhone version?

no ipone, even if I did, I'd play it on PC instead.

I already have it running on my GP2X wiz and HTC Hero, on the hero however it has one problem where I can't have a keyboard (touchscreen phone) and no right click, otherwise it's working perfectly fine on the GP2X through scummvm

Looks impressive! Can you save your game? Im assuming it would just be normal ScummVM right?

yep, regular scummvm, the one on the android however is an unofficial beta, so it's not as abundant as the one on the GP2X

I have an iphone (am infact using ot to post this...) and am rather looking foreward to BASS being on it. Obviously I've already got it on my computer, but the extras sound worth it, and even without them I'd probably buy it to support revolution, and hopefully help set prescedent for future releases.
Incidentally, I was hoping to beta test, but heard about it a little too late, did you get any cool freebies?

not yet, although in the email they said they would send some stuff out to me, I'd love a BASS tshirt :) Or maybe a new copy of Broken Sword......lol

I printed my own BASS tshirt - it has the logo from the European version with a brushed steel look on a black shirt. I've had a lot of people already asking what that shirt is from because they thought it was from a movie or something.

Isn't that illegal to do? Not trying to be a cop or anything, but if it's legal, I'm totally gonna do it :)

It's for personal use - you really think they'd complain? I'm advertising the game for free after all. I'd rather buy an official shirt but they don't exist.
