Lol I'm pathetic.. I can't reopen the fire escape door... (the second step in the game) I tried using the steel pipe?

-Pick up the rung (metal bar) by right clickling on it
-Move the cursor to the top of the screen to bring up the inventory
-On the inventory, right click on the metal bar
-Right click on the door
This ins't working for you ?
Edit: Just noticed your problem is that you can't re-open it, so i guess you're on the ledge outside, right ?
To get back inside just right click on the door and it should open.
