I have been playing this with two walkthroughs but I still have problems.

On the ground floor the door you should look and the open with ID card has no lock. I've tried to pixel hunt it but with no luck. I seek the internet and every place say "look door and use card". ID or link card. None is working. This is the place you get secateurs. I've done everything else so I'm stuck.

Is it a bug or why I can not find the lock? Playing on macOS 10.15.5.

edit: I've spent plenty of time pixel huntinq now.

edit2: I've been watching walkthorugh from YouTube. In video Foster says door has a lock. But in my game he says door is locked. Is there something that needs to done to trigger lock? Like old Sierra style.

edit3: entering debug mode and showing and hiding grid fixed this!

edit4: Forgot to save. Died in tunnel and now lock is gone again.

I guess you're past it (again) now.

Anyway, just played through it. IIRC you just use the ID card on the door itself (After which Foster says to himself "old trick but it still works", or something). So there's no slot for the card on that old door.
This puzzle was a bit annoying. I ended up looking what to do, and the solution was something I was convinced I had already tried. You have to use the the card on the lock, not on the door. But the lock hotspot is very small, so it's easy for the cursor to slip and actually hit the door.

There were a few other examples of pixel hunting -a product of its time, I guess.
