I played the GOG version of this game years ago (it was my first GOG game, actually) but years and years ago I bought the iOS version "Beneath a Steel Sky Remastered" for my iPhone. A lot of the other games I bought that time no longer are compatible with new versions of iOS or have been removed from the app store (I bought secret of monkey island 1 and 2 and now they're gone) but BaSS was updated this year so it should be good.

Despite it being called "Remastered", the graphics look different and I can't really tell the difference between the original and this version. Are there any differences between the GOG version and this supposed "remastered" version? Are there any actual differences at all or is the "remastered" part B.S.?

Wondering if I ever replay it if I should do so on iOS or PC. If there's anything new or changed in the iOS version I'm tempted to play that version since I already beat the GOG PC version years ago.
Visually, the remastered version is identical to the original version. What sets the remastered version on iOS apart is the redone cutscenes (illustrated by Dave Gibbons) and the higher sample rate for the music and voice-overs. They also added a Hint System in order to help you out if you get stuck.
