Hi,

i am playing this on OSX but the colors are mostly shades of blue. See attached screenshot.
I tried to replace the scummvm that is inside the package, but then it wont even start saying scummvm cannot start. Anybody got a clue?

Sorry for double post, but i'm in china right now and the connection to .com sites is really crap.

Those colors don't look wrong. Compare to this screenshot for example. I'd say keep playing further into the game and see how other scenes look.

Wow this is crazy. I must admit, i never checked the actual screenshot. It does look correct!
But i am telling you, in the game, this is NOT what it looks like! The face of the main character is blue, everything is bluish, and the virgin logo at the beginning is not red, but blue.

EDIT:
Ok, this gave me an idea. I started the game in windowed mode, not fullscreen. And this way, the colors are correct.
Still, would be nice to know how to make it look correct in fullscreen.

You could try a newer version of ScummVM.

How did you try it, and it worked when I just tried it with a Daily development build.
From the ScummVM.app I copied Contents/MacOS/scummvm to Beneath a Steel Sky.app - Contents/Resources/game/scummvm/ replacing the existing file, then copied all files in ScummVM.app - Contents/Resources/ to Beneath a Steel Sky.app - Contents/Resources/game/scummvm/ replacing any existing files. Launched BaSS as normal and it worked fine (ScummVM splash briefly showed).
I also tried it the other way by running ScummVM.app and adding BaSS to it by browsing to Beneath a Steel Sky.app - Contents/Resources/game/game/. Screen was all messed up (<CTRL>+<F5> then <ALT>+<Q> to blindly quit). May have been that I had randomly picked OpenGL. I switched that to Normal3x and to run in low resolution (Command-I on ScummVM.app). Ran fine afterwards.
Of course I never had trouble with the colour even with the GOG package.
