After playing the game for a bit, I discovered that when I press f5 to access the menu, it just flashes in and out. I don't know what's causing it, but it's preventing me from saving and is quite bothersome. I'm playing on a laptop where I have to press a Fn button to access the f# keys. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing the problem?

I'm running this on a win7 pro 32-bit machine, if it helps.

Try changing settings in the BIOS of your laptop, so that F* keys would not require a functional key pressed.

I'm having the same problem, but I'm on a desktop with a regular keyboard. I've found that if I press Esc while the menu is flashing, that it stops flashing and I can access the buttons on the menu, but then I can't get out of the menu!
I'm running Windows XP Home sp3

Nevermind. I went back into the game and now it's working fine! Weird.

Almost the same problem but I am running it on a mac. What do I do? My f keys have all the fancy options but they wont let me play the game.

I am playing this on a macbook pro retina (late 2013) and I can access the menu by pressing fn+F5.
